Why We Read

There are many reasons why people read: for school, for entertainment, for an escape. Although I used to be a more avid reader, I no longer have much time to read leisurely; most of my reading is done for school. I do not mind reading (when I have the time), but I am very particular with the types of books I read. My favorite genre is non-fiction, specifically memoirs. On the other hand, I am not a fan of fiction, especially popular series like Harry Potter and Twilight.
